Our
mission is "bringing scientific and technical resources to
the African continent." One way to do that is to get scientists
and vendors together during our training seminars. But there are
other opportunities for scientists to meet with the companies who
provide scientific products and services. An exhibition is another
great opportunity for these two groups, scientists and vendors,
to meet each other.
Kampala
2010 Life Science Expo will be the most comprehensive science marketing
event ever offered in Uganda. This event will accomplish two main
goals: the introduction of scientists to the vendors who supply
scientific products and services, and the introduction of vendors
to multitudes of potential customers.

Who, What, When, Where, Why?
This event will be held at the Uganda
Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) in Kampala, Uganda on 15 October,
2010. Our organizations
share the mission of spreading scientific knowledge across the region
for the benefit of all African scientists. This event will provide
a setting and the resources necessary for scientists and students
to meet with and learn from technical experts on laboratory practices,
systems, and equipment.
This
year's ChromAfrica training
will include advanced instruction in liquid chromatography and gas
chromatography. In addition, we will be conducting an exposition
of Life Science companies. This vendor show is intended to attract
a maximum number of attendees and will be open to the public. We
are expecting more than 300 attendees.
