Our mission is "bringing scientific and technical resources to the African continent." One way to do that is to get scientists and vendors together during our training seminars. But there are other opportunities for scientists to meet with the companies who provide scientific products and services. An exhibition is another great opportunity for these two groups, scientists and vendors, to meet each other.

Kampala 2010 Life Science Expo will be the most comprehensive science marketing event ever offered in Uganda. This event will accomplish two main goals: the introduction of scientists to the vendors who supply scientific products and services, and the introduction of vendors to multitudes of potential customers.

Who, What, When, Where, Why?

This event will be held at the Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) in Kampala, Uganda on 15 October, 2010. Our organizations share the mission of spreading scientific knowledge across the region for the benefit of all African scientists. This event will provide a setting and the resources necessary for scientists and students to meet with and learn from technical experts on laboratory practices, systems, and equipment.

This year's ChromAfrica training will include advanced instruction in liquid chromatography and gas chromatography. In addition, we will be conducting an exposition of Life Science companies. This vendor show is intended to attract a maximum number of attendees and will be open to the public. We are expecting more than 300 attendees.

What does this mean for me as vendor? Register as a vendor.

This is your opportunity to meet hundreds of scientists in one location over the two days of the exposition. Meet your existing customers, and show your products and services to hundreds of new customers. You can also provide a short presentation to small groups in a nearby room. A modest fee will reserve your spot at Kampala 2010 Life Science Expo. Register now as a vendor.

What does this mean for me as a scientist? Register as a Scientist Visitor.

Admission if free! This is your opportunity to meet the vendors that you already know, and to meet new vendors. These companies have the products and services that will help your research, and you can find them all in one place. Although admission is free, all visitors must register before they are allowed to enter the Expo area. Preregistration is advised to minimize delays when you arrive.
